Creamy Homemade Alfredo Sauce Recipes

There's nothing better than a fresh, home made Alfredo sauce served with perfectly cooked aldente pasta

This creamy Italian sauce has some great variations so you can mix and match different options to suit your tastes and your preferences.

While it's possible to buy Alfredo sauce in bottles at the supermarket, it never tastes the same. Often filled with salt and preservatives, it's a poor imitation of good homemade Alfredo sauce.

The original base homemade Alfredo sauce recipe is remarkably simple to make. Always have your pasta boiling while you make the sauce. When the sauce is done, toss in some fettucine or even a filled tortellini or ravioli and you'll be enjoying your homemade pasta Alfredo in less than 10 minutes.

Cooking Your Pasta
Homemade pasta is fresh, it tastes great and really doesn't take long to make. Cook fresh pasta in plenty of boiling water, a pinch of salt and a dash of olive oil for three or four minutes until cooked through. Try our homemade pasta recipe

If you buy dry pasta, then boil your water and add a pinch of salt and a dash of oil and cook pasta for 7-8 minutes or until it's cooked. Taste test your pasta to be sure it's not crunchy, but also be careful not to over cook it or it will be mushy.
