In fact, Did you know that it's possible to make your own essential oil?

Essential oils have a very deep natural aroma, this can psychologically offer soothing or stimulation benefits by triggering the brain. When used correctly the components of these oils also enter the lungs, and when applied to your skin they absorb into the blood stream, providing you with an actual physical benefit.

Mountain Rose Essential Oils

Some essential oils help save lives as well as help in the treatment of serious diseases such as Tuberculosis and Alzheimer's, some oils assist us with high blood pressure and even anthrax.

But essential oils must be used with care - they are very concentrated, and in the pure form, can irritate your skin. They are commonly diluted with "carrier" oils such as sweet almond, apricot kernel, grape seed, or jojoba, and stored in brown or blue glass bottles to protect potency.

The relaxing properties of the more popular essential oils are well known. But now scientists across the globe are discovering that some of these oils are much more than just a lovely smell!

Choosing essential oils

When choosing essential oils you will need to take into account the effect you would like them to have on you and your environment, any related safety issues and your budget

Some oils are harder to extract than others and may be available only from limited regions, so prices tend to differ.

Always use 100% pure essential oils from a trusted supplier, I've used Mountain Rose Herbs for lots of my products and I've never been disappointed.

They stock many bulk organic herbs and spices, essential oils, teas, and other body care supplies, there is simply no better source online for top quality herb supplies.
