I’m Daniel, founder of SavvyHomemade. I started making soap as a kid, but it wasn’t until I began gifting my bars that I realised how much joy they could bring. That moment lit a fire in me. For the past six years, I’ve been formulating soaps, teaching others, and filming tutorials from my kitchen studio in Southern England, often with my dog Ted by my side.
I’m joined by my mum, Angela. She started experimenting with soap in the early 2000s and never looked back. From developing her own signature recipes to finding the perfect scent combinations (lavender and geranium are some of her favorites), she’s become a master of her craft. Now a grandma of two, she still makes soaps in her kitchen most days, balancing traditional methods with her own creative flair.
