To make your oat powder, place a handful of oats into the blender and give it a good blast until you have a fairly well-ground consistency. It doesn't have to be overly uniform, as a few larger bits can give the finished product a natural rustic look. Mix the sugar and the oats that you have just ground together, breaking up any lumps or clumps if need be.
Add the orange powder. Give it a good mix around so that it's well combined.
100 g Rapadura Brown Sugar, 40 g Ground Oats
In a separate container mix the sweet almond oil, vitamin e, orange essential oil, and preservative.
8 g Orange Powder
Now we can combine our wet and dry ingredients together. Pour the oils into the bowl containing the sugar and oat mix, then stir well until thoroughly blended. This is a fairly dry scrub so If you prefer your scrub to be more runny you can add a little more sweet almond oil.
Spoon into a suitable container, PET, glass, or aluminum jars are perfect for this. Store in a cool dark place ready for use.
