The Most Simple Facial Toner Ancient Beauty

by Althea
(Anchorage, Alaska)

Purchase some Rose Water from the market. It is used in middle eastern cooking as a flavoring, be sure it is the edible kind.

Put it in a spray bottle and mist your face after cleansing and before moisturizing.

Cleopatra did it and so did many other beauties through the ages. Try it and see for yourself. It is marvelous, refreshing and smells wonderful.

Enjoy!

Now check out another great homemade toner.

FACIAL TONER

Hi whats even better is to make your own flower water, by using your own fresh roses if you grow them. Pour boiling water over a couple handfuls of rose petals and allow to cool. I let them sit in the sun for a couple of days, shaking occasionally. Strain very well into a spray bottle, viola, your own homemade rosewater toner, or there’s alot of other uses. Keep it refrigerated and it should last up to 3 months!

Thanks for the idea Althea

Rosewater is very good for the skin and will make an excellent toner and with its lovely floral fragrance it sounds wonderful.

Your Ancient Beauty spray also sounds very refreshing which makes me think this would make an excellent cooling spray for the face and body when feeling hot or tired (very handy when on vacation).

Great idea
Angela
