Preparing Your Images Or Emailing Them

Problems uploading: The submission form enables you to upload four photos. Make sure you send the very best photos with the form. However, if you are having problems uploading your photos, you can send them to photos[at]savvyhomemade.com

Please do this after using the submission form to post your write up, remembering to add your email address in the request updates at the end. This action will whitelist your address for our email system (helps us avoid spam), enabling us to recieve your photo/s.

Resizing images: Your photo will be automatically resized once you upload it. However, we suggest that you crop and resize your images beforehand so that you ensure the photo looks exactly the way you want it. It's best to resize your photo to a maxum of 400 pixels wide. When resizing the width, make sure to keep the 'aspect ratio' of the height so that the image isn't distorted.

Cropping images: To crop an image so that your homemade item is right in the center and as large as can be, you can use your own photo editor (such as Photoshop) or this easy-to-use Free online photo editor.
