Preparing Your Images Or Emailing Them

Preparing your photos for SavvyHomemade will help us get them online faster and also make your homemade things look their best.

Resizing images: Your photo will be automatically resized once you upload it. However, we suggest that you crop and resize your images beforehand so that you ensure the photo looks exactly the way you want it. It's best to resize your photo to a maxum of 400 pixels wide. When resizing the width, make sure to keep the 'aspect ratio' of the height so that the image isn't distorted.

Cropping images: To crop an image so that your homemade item is right in the center and as large as can be, you can use your own photo editor (such as Photoshop) or this easy-to-use Free online photo editor.

Sending more than one photo - Problems uploading: The form below enables you to upload only one photo. Make sure you send the very best photo with the form. However, if you feel that your homemade item deserves more than just one picture or If you are having problems uploading your photos, you can send us up to three photos to photos[at]savvyhomemade.com Please do this after using the submission form to post your write up, remembering to add your email address in the request updates at the end.
