I've looked everywhere for a way to make a homemade pregnancy test. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for so long now that it costs me a lot of money to buy an expensive home test kit from the pharmacy all the time.
So I started looking for a way to make my own homemade pregnancy test. I figured there might be a way to mix some chemicals or some way to check if my hormone levels had changed. What I learned is that I simply don't know enough about science or the right chemicals to use for me to make my own test kit at home.
Instead, I've learned to look for little signs and work out ways to get free pregnancy tests so I don't have to spend so much money. Perhaps the easiest way for me to get a free pregnancy test is to make an appointment at a free health clinic. They allow me to get my pregnancy test done when I think I might be late with my cycle and they're run by the government health department, so they don't cost anything.
Another option my sister found was to call the non-profit community organizations near her home. They provided home pregnancy test kits for her to take home when she was trying to get pregnant with her son. These types of organizations are usually associated with churches.
