Homemade Mosquito Repellent

One of the most successful homemade mosquito repellents I have made is 1/2 - 3/4 cup olive oil and about 10 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil. Mix it up (I put it in a spray bottle), spray it on and rub in. The smell is pleasant and it keeps mosquitoes at bay - plus the olive oil moisturizes the skin.

Insect bites

Insect bites (apple-cider vinegar)
If you have already been bitten use a piece of kitchen paper, dab a small amount of apple-cider vinegar onto each bite. The acidity in the vinegar will help to reduce swelling and curb the urge to scratch.

Works well!

I've taken this on vacation to Washington State, and it works quite well. I don't like unnatural products, so this is a good option for me.
