Garlic Honey For Colds

Remember that honey may contain botulism, so don't give your baby under one year of age this cold remedy.

What you will need:
1 bulb garlic (that's the whole thing, not just a clove) and enough honey to cover.

Follow these easy steps:
1. Crush the garlic and place in microwave or oven safe bowl.

2. Cover with honey and bake or microwave at a low heat just until honey is hot.

3. Let sit for 30 minutes and strain out the garlic.

Your garlic may turn color in the honey, but that's OK, it's still all good.

You can use this honey in a cup of tea or you can use it straight up. Honey is very soothing for sore throats.

Garlic is a potent medicine good for fighting infections and viruses.

For colds
by: jeanie

That was one of my mother's remedies, but she added lemon to hot water, then garlic and honey. You sure didn't pass your cold around, because no one would come near you. But best of all it worked. Also for a sore throat, a good wipe of vicks and a work sock around your neck.

For baby's she put vicks on their socks and a face cloth wiped with vicks and put it where they would breath it in their sleep.

Somehow it worked.
