Homemade Finger Puppets

Hope you like our homemade finger puppets. We created these on a boring baby sitting evening and I have to admit I cant remember the last time we had so much fun, and with no arguments! well apart from who made the best puppet.

Making the finger puppets were fun and easy. We cut the fingers from an old (we hope) pair of gardening gloves. We then got out our famous old 'bits and bobs' box and off we went, making finger puppet clothes out of felt, hair from pipe cleaners, sequins for buttons and some good old glitter for extra sparkle.

You really don't have to cut the fingers from the glove but they are easer to handle separately especially when using the glue, plus there were three of us and only one pair of gloves ;-)

After they were made we left them to dry for about an hour and then they were ready to star in our puppet show.
