Homemade Dog Cookies

by Clair
(Canada)

These homemade dog cookies are lovely and soft, so they are perfect for older dogs that may be suffering with teeth problems. They also freeze well so I usually make double this amount and freeze half for convenience.

What you will need
3 ( 2 1/2 oz / 60gram) jars of baby food (any meat flavor)
1/4 cup of dry milk powder
1/4 cup of wheatgerm (available from heath stores)

Method
Simply place all the ingredient in to a bowl and give it a good mix.

Roll into balls and place them on to a well greased baking sheet.

Slightly flatten them and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350c.

Leave to cool then transfer to a air tight container or Ziploc bag and store in the refrigerator or freeze.

Soft dog treats
by: Alfie

I'm so happy to have found a soft dog treat that my dog can eat. He loves these cookies and will do anything for them (who said you cant teach an old dog new tricks.)
