Freeze Body Scrubs

by Miranda

Aloha,

Can you freeze the body scrubs, masques, etc. instead of adding preservatives or discarding after a few days?

Thanks,
Miranda

Freezing homemade body scrubs?
by: Jess

I can fully understand your reasons for wanting to freeze these products as freezing is defiantly one of the easiest and most convenient ways to prepare and store any perishable product.

Basically the extreme cold temperature within a freezer stops the growth of microorganisms which in turn slows down any changes that may affect the quality or spoilage in foods. So in theory, if all the ingredients within the recipe are 'freezeable' and properly frozen, many should keep much of their freshness and their nutritive values. Although you may need to check out how to freeze each item within the recipe first, this should give you a better picture of the best way to go about it.

Any way it seems like a good idea, if someone tries this can you let us know how it all goes ;-)
