Diaz wind flow

Since I was a kid I have always really liked to do experiments. But now that I am older and I have some finance I can do better. My wind turbine is built with a permanent magnet rotor and copper wire 4 pole. Each pole 4 ohms and 4 set of diodes covert the power to DC rate at 60 volt turbine.

I use an AC motor with a heavy duty bearing and shell so that it spins to the direction of the wind. I used a set of a car wheel supports along with the bearing welded to a 4" pipe and the generator bolt on a plate so that it can spin 350 degree back and front and charge the 48 volt system.

The blades were cedar coated and made with fibre glass to increase strength. They were then mounted on a 35 foot tower.

7 year ago I also built a self power generator that starts with a key and produces power to its self and extra charge flows to the batteries bank.

Hi Rolando
This sounds great, thanks for adding it!
Can I ask how long you have had the wind turbine, and how long will it last?

I would love to see a photo of this if you have one. If you send one or more photos to me I will add them to your post here. Please use the email address photos[at]savvyhomemade.com
