Homemade Eau de Toilette Spray Recipes

Not only can you indulge yourself with these wonderful smelling homemade Eau De Toilette sprays, they can also make really good room diffusers.

 

 

Simply place a few reed sticks into a bottle or narrow necked jar along with the toilette water.

The reeds will then absorb the water and diffuse the fragrance though out your room.

Every few days turn over the reeds to refresh the fragrance.

Romantic and Sensuous (Love potion)

Ingredients

• 3 drops of sandalwood essential oil - Sedative and aphrodisiac
• 2 drops of vanilla essential oil - aphrodisiac
• 3 drops of cedar wood essential oil - relaxing and aphrodisiac
• 15 drops of bergamot essential oil - mood enhancer and reviving
• 1/2 pint (about 300mls) of either ethyl alcohol or vodka

Method

1. Pour the alcohol/vodka into a spray bottle or a small jar with a tight fitting lid.



2. Add all of the essential oils and then give it a good shake.



3. Allow to sit for a week before using.



4. For best results spray on pulse spots (or use in a diffuser).

Calming and exotic (Whispering Rain)

Ingredients

• 2 cups of distilled water
• 3 tablespoons of vodka or ethyl alcohol
• 5 drops of sandalwood essential oil - Sedative and aphrodisiac
• 10 drops of bergamot essential oil - mood enhancer and reviving
• 10 drops of cassis essential oil - refreshing and invigorating

Method

1. Pour the water and vodka/alcohol into a spray bottle or a small jar with a tight fitting lid, add the essential oils and shake well.



2. Leave over night to allow everything to settle before using.



3. For best results spray on pulse spots (or use in a diffuser)

Rich and Sweet (Scents of roses)

Ingredients

• 1 cup vodka or ethyl alcohol
• 1/2 cup rose water
• 1 tablespoon rosemary oil - warming and stimulating
• 2 tablespoons rose oil - soothing and aphrodisiac
• 1 tablespoon sandalwood - Sedative and aphrodisiac

Method

Pour all the ingredients (in the order they are shown) into a glass jar or bottle. Shake well and wait 24 hours before using.
